A few days ago, Verizon rolled out when important update to the VS930. With version 4.1.2 of the android operating system,the user gains a more stable and usable device.
However, even perfect platforms have room for improvement. Out of the gate,this update packs battery life gains. Enhanced CPU utilization is responsible for a ten percent increase in session time. Most users of this device will most likely ignore the importance between charge times as they will still get a little over four hours and fifteen minutes before doing so. Our case is a little different as our Spectrum 2 is equipped with a 3050 maH battery which translates to additional two thirds of an hour usage time for a total of about 6 hours and 35 minutes on WiFi. LG definitely has room for improvement in this area. It would be more preferable to use just one charge for a work day.
After this update, users will experience loss of their specific network settings. So make sure your previous are available to properly configure the device for your individual roaming situation. And yes, this smartphone remains a global ready device. The update made no changes to this capability.
